To offer a forum to learn about and discuss feminism, which has been defined as a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression. Different groups of people experience feminism differently, just as they experience sexism and other forms of oppression differently, through intersecting social hierarchies, such as race, class, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual identity.  We will attempt to untangle these intersecting lines in our readings and discussions and other activities.
